The Young CEOs organization began providing enrichment experiences and practical training in Success Preparation and Website Management to urban youth during 2006. The organization’s purpose is to share information and tools that prepare urban youth to succeed in entrepreneurial endeavors.
Although the target age is between 16-24, the organization has worked with “young” entrepreneurs as young as 72 years old. It has collaborated with colleges and universities, business owners, and community activists to present programs as diverse as Millionaires Business Briefings, Hiring Conferences, and Entrepreneurship Training for the Black Hair Industry. It also provides fundraising opportunities that permit people to raise funds to participate in activities.
